18+ Gluten-Free Christmas Party Appetizers
Your gluten-challenged friends won’t feel left out of the fun when you make any of these 18+ gluten-free holiday appetizers.
(1) Christmas Charcuterie Board
Jazz up your charcuterie board this holiday season with a few festive touches for Christmas. I used my Christmas tree cookie cutter to cut out a section of a round brie cheese, making this holiday board sing.

(2) Easy & Cheesy Spinach Artichoke Dip
You can’t go wrong with my easy and cheesy spinach artichoke dip for a crowd-pleasing holiday appetizer. My family begs me to make it, and they eat it so fast when I do.

(3) Gluten-Free Toasted Ravioli
Your guests will go wild if you make these gluten-free toasted ravioli. Toasted ravioli is a St. Louis tradition, but you don’t have to be from the Show Me State to enjoy these beauties.
I buy gluten-free cheese ravioli from Trader Joe’s, then prepare them in my air fryer for a beautiful appetizer that is always the talk of the party!

(4) Crispy Brussels Sprouts Over Creamy Hummus
This festive dip features two of my favorite textures: A creamy hummus base and a crunchy, savory Brussels sprouts topping. This is such a beautiful dip. Your guests won’t wait long before digging in.

(5) Gluten-Free Naan
While I often serve my favorite gluten-free crackers with these dips, if you want to jazz up your holiday appetizer board, and you have time on your hands, make this gluten-free naan instead.
Lorraine’s All Purpose Gluten-Free Flour is the secret ingredient to making fantastic gluten-free naan. I tried making this recipe with other 1-to-1 gluten-free flours, but it wasn’t the same. Serve it warm for the best results.

(6) Gluten-Free Hummus – Two Ways
I always recommend homemade hummus when entertaining a crowd. It tastes a million times better than store-bought hummus (trust me, if you haven’t had homemade hummus, you are missing out!), and it serves up well with crunchy gluten-free crackers or my homemade gluten-free naan (see above).
Depending on how you like your hummus, you can try my Lemon Dill Hummus, which has a citrusy flair, or spice it up with my Spicy Hummus instead. Either way, you can’t go wrong.
(7) Easy & Delicious Pumpkin Hummus
Ok, I lied. I have another festive hummus recipe for you, only this one is made with pumpkin! This dip will soon become a favorite holiday appetizer, especially if your guests go crazy for anything pumpkin.

(8) Gluten-Free Falafel
If you’re serving hummus, then you’ll want to consider making my gluten-free falafel recipe to go along with it.
Each delicious falafel is loaded with fresh chickpeas and herbs and gently fried to form a crispy outer layer.
When I don’t feel like making falafel, I buy them frozen at Trader Joe’s. They’re not as good, but they work.

(9) Gluten-Free Mozzarella Sticks
Make a platter of these cheesy gluten-free mozzarella sticks, and your guests won’t leave until every last one is gone.
These delicious mozzarella sticks can be baked or air-fried and taste amazing however you dish them out.

(10) Gluten-Free Cheesy Corn Dip
I love a good cheesy dip. The more cheese pull, the better. But I don’t like loads of mayonnaise and sour cream, which add calories, and frankly, I have an irrational fear of mayo.
My cheesy corn dip is made with creamy avocados vs. mayonnaise and sour cream, and only fresh ingredients. Your guests won’t know you just served a healthier version of this classic dip.

(11) Festive Cranberry Jalapeno Dip
Enjoy those fresh cranberries with this tangy and sweet cranberry dip with a touch of spice, thanks to the fresh jalapenos.
If I’m asked to bring a Thanksgiving appetizer, this is the exact dip I’ll show up with.

(12) Carrot and Cauliflower Soup
Another excellent holiday appetizer is my carrot and cauliflower soup. It’s smooth and creamy (although made without cream) and has a kick to it thanks to the fresh ginger. If you love ginger, I suggest adding more of it!
Serve this appetizer before a meal, or put it out with the dips and watch your guests sip on this savory yet sweet soup.
Get my Carrot and Cauliflower Soup recipe, which I like to serve with crispy chickpeas I make in the air fryer.
(13) Baked Brie with Walnuts, Pomegranates, and Honey
I love pulling out a warm baked brie from my oven and covering it with walnuts, pomegranate arils, and a drizzle of honey. This recipe, without a doubt, will become part of your holiday appetizer repertoire.

(14) Gluten-Free Pumpkin Butter

(16) Gluten-Free Pigs in a Blanket
I feel like pigs in a blanket is a holiday staple, and I’ve got the scoop on how to make them. Hopefully, you can find gluten-free puff pasty near you, although it’s been discontinued at my local grocery stores.
No worries, you can make your own gluten-free puff pastry with my recipe. It’s a bit more involved but well worth your time if you’re craving pigs in a blanket.

(17) Sushi Platter
While it’s not necessarily holiday-themed, a platter of sushi rolls will always light up a room. I made a bunch of sushi rolls for a party, and the entire platter (pictured below) was gone in less than 30 minutes. (I added tamari to the bowl in the middle.)
I offer insights on how to make your own gluten-free California rolls in this article. Be sure to make everything a bit smaller when making it as an appetizer.
For example, I used 1/2 nori sheet coated with sushi rice. I flipped the nori, placed thin slices of cucumber, avocado, and gluten-free imitation crab on it, and then rolled it up.
You’ll need a few supplies to make this dish, so check out my Amazon Storefront for all my recommended sushi-making tools.
