Just because you’re gluten-free doesn’t mean you have to give up cheese. Most (not all) people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance can digest dairy just fine or with the help of a digestive enzyme.
Remember, cheese is naturally gluten-free. You only have to give up cheese if dairy bothers your digestive system, which you can determine through a 4-6 week elimination diet, and only if dairy is suspect. But that lecture is for another time and place.
In this article, I’m going to share some of my favorite cheesy dips because, well, we all deserve more cheese in our lives. So get ready to channel your inner cheese lover with these seven gluten-free dips for cheese lovers only.
Oh, and be sure to stock up on Crunchmaster crackers to help you scoop these tasty dips. Crunchmaster crackers come in several fun flavors to match your favorite dip, from spicy Chili Lime Avocado Toast Crackers to the Original Multi-Seed Crackers and more!
(1) Warm Gluten-Free Queso
Spice up your summer barbeques with this delicious gluten-free queso recipe that pairs perfectly with salty crackers.
I originally created this queso dip to go on my Family Movie Night Snack Board (pictured below), but this cheesy dip will also be the highlight of your summer barbeques, graduation parties, and Father’s Day get-togethers.

(4) Spicy 7-Layer Mexican Dip
Of course, no backyard barbeque is complete without a 7-layer Mexican dip. My layered dip is served warm and filled with hearty ingredients such as refried beans, fresh guacamole, spicy taco meat, and, of course, gobs of melted cheese.
Get my Spicy 7-Layer Mexican Dip recipe. Please note I use plant-based meat in my recipe, but you could use ground beef or turkey instead.
(5) Warm Butternut Squash and Apple Dip
While it’s not fall (yet!), bookmark this recipe so you’re ready when butternut squash is back in season. This cozy and warm dip features roasted chunks of squash and apples blended with goat cheese, sour cream, and other seasonings.
It’s perfect for entertaining during the holidays or for hoarding all to yourself. And if you can’t wait until the fall, you can always use canned squash to make it.

(6) Warm Brie Cheese with Spiced Cranberry Compote
I love a good brie cheese wheel, especially during the holidays, but of course, you can enjoy brie cheese year-round.
First up is my Warm Brie Cheese with Spiced Cranberry Compote. While this recipe is perfect as a Thanksgiving or Christmas appetizer, it can be enjoyed all year round.
You can buy frozen cranberries during the off-season, use a can of cranberry sauce instead, or instead swap cranberries for fig or strawberry jam to add a light and summery touch to this holiday dip.
(7) Baked Brie with Walnuts, Pomegranates, and Honey
You could also make this Baked Brie with Walnuts, Pomegranates, and Honey recipe if you love brie cheese.
Of course, you won’t be able to find pomegranates in the summer, so I recommend substituting pomegranates with dried cranberries, golden raisins, or even better, fresh raspberries or strawberries. Yum!
The Cheese Has It
I hope one of these delightful cheesy dips catches your eye as you plan your summer parties for graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and summer fun entertaining.
Remember to stock up on those ever-important crackers, which you’ll need to transport these cheese dips into your mouth.
Costco and Sam’s Club carry big boxes of Crunchmaster crackers that feed a crowd, and the crunchy crackers are available in smaller pouches at most grocery stores across the U.S.
