Unboxing: May 2024 Gluten-Free Subscription Box

It’s month #2 of my Love Me Gluten Free subscription boxes, and the wait is over. It’s time to reveal the contents of this very special May 2024 box.

Before I reveal what’s inside, I want to first tell you a bit more about Love Me Gluten Free.

Love Me Gluten Free is a different kind of monthly gluten-free subscription box company. It’s a premium subscription box rather than a haphazardly thrown-together box of products.

Where else can you find a box of gluten-free goodies that allows you to sample everything from loaves of bread and baking mixes to pretzels, cookies, and spices and one that has been expertly curated around a fun theme and beautifully packaged like a birthday gift?

I wanted to create an experience where the gluten-free community could feel safe and know everything inside the box was properly vetted by someone who cares about the gluten-free lifestyle. I have celiac disease, and I personally curate every box.

On top of it all, I wanted to make gluten-free fun again. The gluten-free diet can feel depressing at times, but a little mailbox love will definitely bring smiles.

I should also mention that I love supporting gluten-free brands and wanted to create an opportunity for them to directly connect with the gluten-free community in a personal and intimate way.

The May 2024 Box

My April 2024 box was themed Loved From Colorado and featured gluten-free products from brands headquartered in my home state of Colorado.

My May 2024 box is themed Jenny’s Favorite Things and includes a sampling of some of my favorite brands in honor of Celiac Disease Awareness Month. I think I might have to do a Favorite Things box every May; what do you think?

And without further delay, let’s unbox my May box and see what gluten-free brands can be found inside.

Aleia’s

I don’t know how Aleia’s does it, but its Coat & Crunch breadcrumbs are the closest thing I can find to a gluten-free Shake ‘N Bake dupe, and they’re so darn good.

I’ve loved this product for a long time, and in my May Love Me Gluten Free box, I shared Aleia’s newest Coat & Crunch flavor: Lemon Herb.

Banza

I love Banza pasta. It has a great texture and doesn’t taste like it’s made from chickpeas. It also contains 20 grams of protein per serving – woohoo!

Each Love Me Gluten Free subscriber received a Banza pasta + a coupon for one Banza frozen pizza. To Banza near you, visit eatbanza.com.

Crunchmaster

It’s no secret that Crunchmaster makes a darn good certified gluten-free cracker, and I sent my subscribers one of my favorite flavors: Chili Lime Avocado Toast Crackers. This cracker is spicy and perfect for scooping pico de gallo or guacamole.

You can find Crunchmaster crackers at most grocery stores across the U.S. and in the Crunchmaster Amazon storefront.

Crunchsters

Crunchsters, owned by free2b foods, makes savory and crunchy mung beans that I can’t get enough of. Each subscriber received a bag full of these crunchy and salty goodies.

I like to sprinkle a handful of these salty beans on top of my salad and find they add amazing flavor and crunch. You can find them at Whole Foods and online.

The code GOODFORYOU20 is good for 20% off any order at free2bfoods.com through 6/30/24. Offer excludes trial packs and subscriptions.

Gluten Free & More Magazine

I sent each subscriber the latest issue of Gluten Free & More Magazine, the #1 magazine exclusively serving our community.

May is the magazine’s very special Celiac Disease Awareness Month issue. If you want to become a subscriber and support the magazine that supports us, use the code GFY20 for 20% off your subscription at glutenfreeandmore.com.

Hand + Heart Gluten Free

Hand + Heart Gluten Free (formerly Lorraine’s Gluten Free) offers some of the best baking mixes I’ve had in my 12+ years on a gluten-free diet.

I included the very special Sweet Dough Mix to help my subscribers make a variety of sweet treats, all of which I’ve listed in my article, 9 Recipes to Make Using Hand + Heart Gluten-Free Sweet Dough Mix.

Use the code GOODFORYOU for 10% off your first order at handandheartglutenfree.com.

Miracle Noodle

As a pasta addict, I’ve long been a fan of Miracle Noodle. Did you know that the entire bag contains only 10 calories and 2 grams of net carbs?

I wanted my subscribers to sample these noodles for themselves to see why they’re so popular and one of my favorite products.

Use the code GOODFORYOU10 for 10% off any order at miraclenoodle.com through 6/30/24. Limit one use per customer.

Red Apple Lipstick

Red Apple Lipstick makes certified gluten-free cosmetics with high-quality and responsibly sourced ingredients. I gave each of my subscribers the Rallye Lipbalm in the NEW gender-neutral packaging and paired it with this month’s Mystery Gift—a keychain lip balm holder—to ensure they always have their balm on hand.

Use the code GOODFORYOUGF for 20% off any order at redapplelipstick.com.

Savor by Suzie

Savor by Suzie makes crunchy pretzels free from gluten, grains, GMOs, sugar, soy, dairy, nuts, and animal products. I also love that the owner, Suzie, comes from a long line of pretzel entrepreneurs.

She created these pretzels to help her daughter, Kelly, manage her autism symptoms. I got to meet both Suzie and Kelly earlier this year. They are a dynamic duo!

I included garlic-flavored pretzels inside the May Love Me Gluten Free box. This flavor is now available at Whole Foods in the mid-Atlantic area—hooray!

The code GOODFORYOU20 is good for 20% off any order at savorbysuzie.com through 6/30/24.

Sweet Sydney’s

Sweet Sydney’s makes delicious soft and sweet cookies and bars. The company is owned by a father-daughter duo who wanted to make fresh-baked gluten-free cookies that didn’t taste gluten-free. I think the cookies taste like they’re right out of the oven – perfection!

The code GOODFORYOU20 will get you 20% off any order at sweetsydneys.com – enjoy!

I loved receiving the May box. I was so excited to see product I have not heard about before. I already received the Gluten Free magazine so I was happy to share it with a coworker who found out she is gluten intolerant. She, like me, struggled with what can I eat? what can I make that my family will also enjoy. This magazine could not have come at a better time. She was so excited and looking through the recipes trying to decide what to try first. I can’t wait to try all of the new products; the Sweey Sydney cookies and miracle noodles, which I have not heard of either of them. Keep up the good work and looking forward to next month’s box!
