Mangoes are one of the first signs that spring has arrived because they're in season from mid-March to mid-July. To celebrate the start of spring, I've created this wonderful tropical mango smoothie using fresh organic mango and organic So Delicious® coconutmilk. Cheers!
Add all of the ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
Pour into two glasses and serve immediately. Cheers!
Notes
Frozen bananas help make the smoothie thick and creamy. The best way to freeze a banana is to peel it first, then wrap it in plastic wrap or store in a freeze-safe container. You can use frozen chunks of diced pineapple or buy frozen pineapple. Frozen fruit will keep the smoothie cool and creamy. If the mixture is too liquidy for your taste, add more ice. Ice will help to keep the smoothie cold and thick. One average sized mango will give you one cup of diced mango for this recipe. You can add extra fresh mango on top of your smoothie for serving. You can cut all of the fruit ahead of time (except for the coconutmilk) and freeze them in a freezer safe container. In the morning, just toss all of the ingredients in the blender and add So Delicious® Coconutmilk and blend. A quick and yummy liquid breakfast awaits you.If possible, use a stainless steel straw because they are cold and keep the smoothie cold as you slurp it up!
