Curated boxes of goodies are all the rage these days – so why shouldn’t there be a subscription box of goodies dedicated to bringing the latest and greatest gluten free samples to those who need to know about gluten free products the most!
I recently received a sample box from Send Me Gluten Free. I was smiling from start to finish!
I couldn’t wait to tear into this beautiful and bright orange box. Before I even comment about what’s inside the box, I must say that Send Me Gluten Free makes this experience fun from start to finish. Everything is packaged and shipped so beautifully and thoughtfully.
Check out what I saw immediately upon unwrapping the beautiful box.
As I laid eyes on my delicious find, I was impressed by the variety of items there were inside the box. Most were trial sized items, enabling me to try things in order to decide if I liked them. If you’re like me, you’ve wasted a lot of money buying full-sized gluten free items, only to find you don’t like them at all and you’ve wasted your money.
Each box comes with 8-10+ items – some are full sized, others are trial sized. I was familiar with some of the products in the box, like the lucy’s gluten free chocolate chip cookies. I’m not a lucy’s cookie fan, but was willing to give it another try (honestly, I still don’t like them, nor does my son – they’re way to grainy and leave a bad aftertaste).
That said, the bulk of the items inside my exciting Send Me Gluten Free box were new to me and I had no prior experience with them.
Two stand-out new items in my Send Me Gluten Free box were the Simply 7 Quinoa Chips and the granola by Simply 7 Quinoa Chips. I’m completely impressed by the delicious samples these two companies provided.
The Simply 7 Quinoa chips were light, crisp and delicately salted. Way better than potato or corn chips – I swear!
The company is one to be impressed by too. The name, Simply 7, comes from the fact that the company’s snacks are made according to 7 core standards:
- Zero Grams of Trans Fat
- No Artificial Colors or Flavors
- No Preservatives or MSG
- Gluten Free Ingredients
- All Natural (No GMOs)
- Simple Ingredients
- Simply Delicious
The ingredients list is simple and understandable. In fact, it only has 7 ingredients: Quinoa flour, potato starch, corn starch, expeller pressed safflower oil, corn flour, sugar, and sea salt. I recognize all these ingredients and that feels great! The entire bag (.08 oz) is 110 calories and my son and I both wolfed them down, trying to out eat one another before the bag was gone. It was gone fast. Rest assured that these Quinoa Chips have been added to our grocery list.
The other item I really enjoyed was the Simply 7 Quinoa Chips. Most granola is crunchy, but this one was different, it was so soft and chewy! It was like eating a soft oatmeal cookie. Delic! Just beware – the tiny-sized bag of granola that came in the Send Me Gluten Free box was a whopping 130 calories. This may not sound like a lot, but it was about two bites worth of granola. No kidding.
I’m still working my way through all the items and plan to share more in future posts. In the meantime, I think you should give Send Me Gluten Free a try. I truly believe it will save you money in the long run. If you’re like me, you like to try new things… but you hate wasting money.
