  • Yields: 24-28 meatballs

1-1.5 lbs organic ground turkey

1/2 cup gluten-free panko breadcrumbs (I used Ian's brand)

2 Tablespoons sesame oil

1/4 cup finely chopped fresh white or yellow onion

6 garlic cloves, minced (divided)

1 13.5 oz jar of gluten-free BBQ sauce (about 1.5 cups). (I used Organicville brand)

1/2 cup gluten-free teriyaki sauce

2 Tablespoons raw honey

4 squares of gluten-free Rice Ramen by Lotus Foods

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a baking sheet with foil and grease. Set aside.

In a large bowl, combine turkey, breadcrumbs, sesame oil, chopped onion, and 3 garlic cloves. Mix well.

Form into small meatballs - you should be able to make 24-18 balls

Place balls on baking sheet and into oven for 15 minutes.

In your slow cooker, combine BBQ sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey and 3 garlic cloves. Mix.

Add cooked balls to slow cooker and cook for 3-4 hours on low heat, stirring occasionally to ensure no burning or sticking.

Prepare gluten-free rice ramen according to instructions. Add meatballs atop ramen (or rice).

Top with sesame seeds and chopped green onion (optional).

Keep an eye on the slow cooker. You don't want your meatballs to burn and slow cooker temps can greatly vary.
