    2 hrs 15 mins

  • Yields: 12 truffles

8 ounces of semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. heavy whipping cream (5.25 oz)

Gluten-free sprinkles (or other coatings) of choice

In a saucepan, heat cream to a boil (careful not to burn it).

While cream is heating, place chocolate in a heatproof bowl.

Pour hot cream over chocolate and stir until chocolate is fully melted and mixture well incorporated.

Refrigerate until cool, about 2 hours.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a small spoon, scoop a small mound of the chocolate mixture from the bowl, then roll the chocolate into a ball with your hands.

Place each ball on baking sheet. You'll make about 12 truffles.

Refrigerate the chocolate for 15 minutes, then roll each truffle in desired coating of sprinkles.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
