Last week my family ventured off to St. Louis to visit my BFF – and finding gluten-free restaurants in St. Louis was top of mind for me. I always worry about food when I travel as a Celiac. My friend did a ton of great research to find us some good gluten-free eats in St. Louis and around her home in Chesterfield.
If you’re visiting St. Louis, here are a few good gluten-free eats to consider:
Circle 7 Ranch: The burgers are amazing here – but skip ordering a GF bun (they just give you a piece of GF bread) and get it lettuce wrapped. There is a huge GF menu here and the staff was very knowledgeable about Celiac. Here is Circle 7’s huge GF menu.
The Corner Pub: I could have eaten here every day! The owner’s daughter has Celiac, so there are many accommodations for GFers here that you don’t see at other restaurants, such as a dedicated GF fryer! I enjoyed blackened chicken with french fries and shared nachos with my daughter. Didn’t love the queso cheese on the nachos (wish they used fresh shredded cheddar instead) but was just so happy there were so many options here that I’ll forgive the cheese incident. Check out its huge GF menu!
Crazy Bowls and Wraps: This is a fast casual restaurant staple in St. Louis and the workers here are eager to help. I decided to build my own bowl with rice, grilled hormone-free chicken breast, and a melody of vegetables. There are several sauces that are GF, including the Garlic Ginger sauce (which I ordered and wish they added a more generous heaping of the sauce). Overall CBW is a good, quick, easy, kid-friendly meal. Check the allergen menu to see all GF items.
I left reviews of each restaurant on the Find Me Gluten Free app too.
