It’s rare that I find a restaurant that has so many gluten-free options that I agonize over what to eat!
That’s exactly what happened last week at the Next Door Eatery in Glendale, Colorado. They had so many gluten-free options to choose from – my head was spinning!
On March 18, Next Door Eatery sponsored a Denver Blogger’s Club event. Twenty of my Denver blogger friends joined me to enjoy good [gluten-free] eats from Next Door, as well as learn about Pinterest strategies from yours truly. Next Door provided free food to all of us as the event sponsor. Thank you Next Door!
Next Door spoiled us.
They really did!
They first brought out a sampling of their new menu, which launched last week. It includes kale chips (delicious and crunchy), pickles and pepperoncinis (deep fried in dedicated gluten-free fryer – definitely a winning dish), gluten-free pita chips with hummus, as well as a variety of quinoa and rice bowls, salads, burgers, sandwiches and more.
My fellow gluten-free blogger, Karissa Mackin from With Our Best, and I couldn’t get enough of this toasted gluten-free bread!
After we sampled the new menu, Next Door told us to order a meal of our own. Really? More food?!?
After eating so much, I decided to keep things light and ordered a roasted vegetable salad. It was fresh and full of everything healthy that I love – quinoa, beets, beans, raisins and cauliflower. Loved it!
After lunch, we headed to the rooftop patio to enjoy dessert (gluten-free chocolate chip cookies and ice cream). It’s there we talked about strategies for using Pinterest to grow our blogs. Look at this gorgeous rooftop on this gorgeous Colorado blue sky day!
I taught the session (despite having a hoarse voice). Thank you to Katie Clark of Clarks Condensed and Jennifer McClellan of Plus Size Birth for their input in the presentation even though they couldn’t be there with me to present.
Overall, Next Door Eatery provided delicious, gluten-free food and a wonderful backdrop to our blogger event.
If you’re looking for a no-fuss, down-to-earth, casual restaurant in the Cherry Creek area, then look no further than Next Door Eatery.
PS: Good news! Next Door is opening another location in Stapleton in a few months and its first non-Colorado location in Memphis later this year.
