Amazon Prime Day is July 11, although deals start at 9:00 pm EST today, July 10th. Prime Day is like Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but this holiday is sizzling in July.
This one day shopping event will be fueled by flash deals on everything including electronics, home products and grocery. I am going to tell you everything you need to get pumped for Prime Day in this email. Please note that this post contains affiliate links. (Please see my disclosures.)
What’s New for Prime Day 2017?
This year Amazon is offering more time to shop (for better or for worse, right?)! Prime customers will get six extra hours to shop Prime Day deals this year.
The deals will also be easier to find because they will be based on your interests. There will be 22 interests spread across tech, beauty, games, fashion, home, sports, pets, etc. that you can follow. Visit the Prime Day page to learn more about this new feature and download your Insider’s Guide.
Amazon Prime customers can also shop for deals using their Alexa-enabled devices. Alexa will let your readers shop Prime Day Spotlight deals starting at 7pm EST on Monday July 10, 2017 – two hours before everyone else.
If you want to get primed for Prime Day, here are a few things you must do.
Sign up for an Amazon Prime Membership Now
Visit Amazon to sign up for a free 30 day trial. If you don’t like Amazon Prime, you can cancel your membership without any fees next week… but at least you’ll be a member long enough to enjoy Prime Day deals if you sign up now. Sign-up for your 30 day Amazon Prime trial membership here.
Create an Amazon Prime Day Wish List or Shopping List
Start looking at what your dream items would be – a new camera, laptop, InstantPot (one of the top 10 selling items on Prime Day 2016!), etc. Add them to your Shopping List so you can watch your list for deals throughout the day. I created an Amazon Shopping List based on the small kitchen appliances you need to set up your gluten-free kitchen.
Explore the Deals
You can visit Amazon and begin to explore the deals you’re interested in. View the upcoming deals by category (home, electronics, etc.) and click on “Watch this Deal” to ensure you don’t miss these items. Items sell out fast!!
Clear Your Schedule
You are going to want to stay close to your computer all day so try to clear your schedule. (Except be sure to tune into my Facebook Live at Red Robin where I’ll be using my Nima Sensor to test the burger and fries for gluten on July 11 between 12-1 pm MST. I’ll also be announcing my Nima Sensor giveaway – you don’t want to miss it!)
Happy Prime Day shopping my gluten-free friends!
